Parson’s Trading
Post & Museum at Lake Delton, WI has been at this location for over 50
years. Our Indian Artifacts collection is quite extensive.
Opened by Glen
Parsons as a General Store in 1914, Native American Indians from all over
the county traveled here for supplies and to sell their own handicrafts.
Many of these families were still living in tee-pees and wigwams as late
as the 1950’s!
Parson’s Trading Post & Museum is the oldest and
largest trading post and museum in the Midwest!
Come and get a
glimpse of Native American Indian life inside our wonderful museum, where
you’ll find authentic Indian clothing, weapons, household utensils and
religious artifacts made by the local woodland tribes. Then stop by the
Trading Post on the way out and purchase authentic Indian crafts, baskets,
beadwork and other hand made jewelry.
